A non-voyeuristic history of virginity from the earliest civilizations to modern times. What does it mean to be a virgin? Has it always meant the same thing? What is the value of this *thing* we call virginity? Questions all considered and addressed by Blank in a straightforward, unapologetic manner.

But if you're squeamish at all about things *down there,* avoid this one.
